Ask ko lang po kung paano mag measure ng thread size ng oil filter? Planning to use Royal Purple oil filters pero wala silang pang Hyundai Santa Fe 2009 na Diesel, puro pang gas lang. Since may stock naman ako ng OEM Hyundai Filter. Dun ko na lang sana sa thread size hahanapin kung meron RP oil filter na swak sakin.

Ano pa po bang considerations when choosing the filter bukod sa thread size?

If the rubber gasket aligns in the same place as the OEM.

You can search for the OEM number for the gas engine oil filter and do a cross search on RP's website or other filter manufacturer's site. From there you can determine if its the same thread.
