Came across this while comparing affordable and widely available gear oils for manual transmission (Caltex Thuban GL4 SAE90 and Petron GEP SAE90):

Seems that Petron REV-X All-Terrain has a high TBN at 16. Interesting..

How come sila meh PDS ng petron lubricants tapos yung mismong Petron website ayaw i-publish PDS ng lubricants nila,,,
Lapit lang pala office nila samin...hehe

TBN of 16 is really quite high, parang marine oils(15-20 TBN)

Possibly another oil favorite if the price is right?

Sayang hindi available ang ZIC Gear FF dito sa amin. Yung 75w-85 GL4 sana para sa manual transmission para straight ZIC oils na. Will be using ZIC Gear 5 80w-90 GL5 for the differentials.
