Mga sir tanong ko lang kung paano ko malalaman kung sira na ang radiator at water pump? Tumataas kasi temp nun boxtype sentra ko. Madaling mabawas tubig sa radiator pero hindi naman nagbabawas yung tubig sa reservoir.

check your radiator cap and check where you might have a leak

check mo if may leaking sa radiator or sa water pump. check mo ang tubig sa radiator kung may halong langis ba. pag meron, palit ng cylinder head gasket.

Wala leak boss, pina check up ko sa mechanic last sunday sabi head gasket daw may singaw na, need daw ibaba cylinder head para pa tono at papa reface sa machine shop, ask ko kung magkano gagastusin sa lahat, sabi sa akin maghanda daw ako ng 9k baka sobra pa daw un. Tanong ko lang po need ba talaga pa machine shop yung cylinder head or cylinder block kung ang palitin lang eh gasket at mga valve seal? Para kasi ang laki ng 9k na gastos. Hindi naman mausok yung makina at maganda naman tunog pa. Pa advice ako mga sir. Salamat

not all cylinder head jobs require resurfacing of the gasket side. check for warpage and corrosion first. the cylinder head profile is reduced when the head is shaved and it affects the compression ratio, the clearance of the piston to the valves, the valve timing for overhead cam engines, and it sure is a PITA adjusting valve clearance on most of today's cars with shim spacer adjuster for valve lash. if you suspect loss of coolant through the cylinder head/gasket, check for bubbles in the radiator with the radiator cap removed and the engine running.

Boss sinabi lang iyun as worst case scenario. Malalaman lang iresurface kung mabubuksan na makina. Ako nga maliit lang siningil nun una kasi top overhaul, nauwi sa total overhail eh.
