Check for leaks. Parang ang bilis magbawas ng fluid mo. Baka pudpod na rin ang pads or shoes so pacheck mo na rin. It's best to bleed from all four corners to ensure na walang matirang old fluid. Some gas station service centers have a machine that sucks out the fluid via the bleed nipple so ask around.

I would recommend you go for a full flush. Brake fluid absorbs moisture/water over time and through direct exposure (floods) and such contamination will affect components in the system (such as brake pistons, rubber seals, etc.).
The brake fluid level also probably went down as your brake pads wear down, the piston has to push further to engage the brakes.

March 1st, 2018 05:39 PM #8if there is no visible leak on all four wheels, the ABS, and on the master cylinder, no need to refill as your brake pads wore down over the years. I would wait for the 40K km for brake fluid flush and refill. You may check your brake pads too if they already thinned out and need replacing....
