Guys help naman. kanina nagpachange oil/tune up ako pina advance ko na din yung timing from 5 degrees to 15. Tapos ni road test namin everything seems great. Tapos umuwi na ko Sta. Rosa Laguna(sa good year las pinas ako nagpatune up) via SLEX hataw mode yun ok din wala problema happy camper ika nga? Eto na, as i was planning to go out again, upon starting the engine may naramdaman na kong unusual, kasi madalas one click lang to e, nang umaandar na, i felt a lot of hesitation from the engine? di ko alam kung pano exactly i describe e, parang ayaw nyang "humataw" ba? very tentative yung rpm nya? Sa tingin nyo mga peeps ano kaya ang cause nito? and may mairerecommend ba kayo na talyer/mechanic around dito sa laguna(baka kasi itirik ako pag itinakbo ko ng malayo e) B13 Sentra nga po pala ang ride ko with SR20de. ngayon lang ko po kasi naexperience to kaya help naman po. salamat po sa time nyo na basahin to

To advance the ignition timing on your sentra is one of the easiest jobs in the book but, you will not gain any noticeable extra power by doing this all you will do is cause pinking that also creates premature engine wear. There is a procedure for setting base timing on a computer controlled car, You should find out first what it is and what the timing should be set to before you try adjusting it. Bring it back.

The 5 degrees advance might be too much for the grade of gasoline you are using.

My SR20 gained a few more HP when advanced. I am using Shell V-Power. I lost power when I used Petron's high octane equivalent.

Last dyno test, power out was at 152hp at the wheels with alcohol injection running.

Guys thanks for the replies, kanina 3 mechanic ang pinuntahan ko around sta. rosa area, being the last Nissan Southwoods. the First 2 ang opinion nila e wala sa electricals kasi ok naman daw ang kuryente from the distributor going to the sparkplugs. ang suspect nila ay yung fuel, kasi when they check the filter e BLACK ang color ng gasolina???(should be blue) at andaming residue or latak ba yun? considering na i use only blaze. kaya ang ginawa ko nagpakarga agad ako ng V power sa shell and "medyo" umayos ang takbo nya. and advice nila ipalinis ko daw yung injectors sa iba. Di kasi sila equipped to do this kind of procedure. sa southwoods naman di nila nadiagnose kasi very busy sila at kulang sa tao kaya instead they set an appointment on monday. Kaya mga peeps help ulit san kayang shop ang equipped para maglinis ng injectors? and for Ghosthunter sir anong klase/code ng sparkplugs ang gamit mo? for V6Dreamer, sir yung pagkakadvance kasi e got that reference from SR20deforum actually yung 15degrees ay mababa pa kasi the engine could go all the way from 17 to 19 degrees daw with stock ecu. kaya siguro e safe pa din yun although i agree na tataas siguro ang FC. thanks again sa time nyo reading this.
