Please recommend brand of motor oil for change oil for Toyota Altis 2003

15w40 pala yung shell hx5 yung yellow bottle

I have altis 07 G. Di masyado sa brand yan, more on sa interval talaga. Alagaan Naten altis naten at prone nga sa sludging.

Aside from visual inspection, any signs or symptoms sa takbo before nag sludge? Or you think na dahil sa sludge.

15w40 should be fine

just follow the 5t km change oil ok na.20w50 ang TMO( Toyota Motor Oil).Nilinis din ba oil strainer nung pina top overhaul mo?pina check mo ba PCV? Ung vvti filter ba nilinis din?

Ok lang naman ang 20w50, basta 5,000 km or three months ang interval, pero 15w40 is much better, mas pino yung tunog ng engine, lalo na kung toyota oil filter or baldwin yung kapares nya. Used Castrol 15w40 before, then I switch to Mobil 1000 15w40 until now, mas mura eh, haha, so after 145,000km...my engine is still clean and good as new.
