    So more than a year a gap ng oil changes mo. Assuming na 600KM per month is = to 16~17 months! Talaga po magkakaroon ng sludge ang engine mo. Kaya safe practice mo is either 10k KM or 6 months. Whichever comes first.

    Yun mga previous oil changes mo rin ba sa shell eh gingagamitan ba nila ng engine flush?
    Hinde ko kasi rekomendado ang engine flush. It actually does more harm than good.
    Actually yan sludge eh hinde lang rin sa ibabaw ng cylinder head nag build up. Pati sa mga oil channels at sa ibang part ng engine. Kaya meaning to say hinde pa rin natanggal lahat ng sludge.
    So need mo now is bumili ng oil like 10w-30 sa mga reputable store. Marami kasi nagbebenta ng peke. OK lang kung semi synth o fully synthetic. At oil filter sa mga reputable stores.
    Then since for sure napa change oil mo na (after mag top overhaul), pero hinde ako sure kung kailan, pwede mo ulit ipa change oil para yun ang pinaka flushing mo.
    If synthetic, try mo lagi magpa change oil every six months.

    sa users manual may graph yan, naka lagay chose the oil that matches the temperature range that you are currently are...

    ang temperature dyan is Fahrenheit, ikaw na mamimili ng kung ano viscosity based sa temperature...

    hindi naman nag aksaya ng panahon mga engineer dyan sa user manual para mag lagay ng mali info, kase bawat mali dyan eh lawsuit ang katapat...

    just follow the 5t km change oil ok na.20w50 ang TMO( Toyota Motor Oil).Nilinis din ba oil strainer nung pina top overhaul mo?pina check mo ba PCV? Ung vvti filter ba nilinis din?

    Ok lang naman ang 20w50, basta 5,000 km or three months ang interval, pero 15w40 is much better, mas pino yung tunog ng engine, lalo na kung toyota oil filter or baldwin yung kapares nya. Used Castrol 15w40 before, then I switch to Mobil 1000 15w40 until now, mas mura eh, haha, so after 145,000km...my engine is still clean and good as new.
