Depends on how much ratio of diesel got mixed and and type of fuel system.

ok lang, just use it and top up with diesel when posible.

you can even add kerosene as extender in extreme requirements.

ginagawa talaga yan to keep diesel from freezing.

mas delikado pa ang biodiesel 100%, dahil kailangan mo talaga mag update ng fuel system

    to use b100.

dilikado yan. you cannot rev it too much until the last gasoline mix is gone. that could take weeks or months.

nangyari na yan sa amin. the drain was not 100% drained. two days later, nagoverheat yung makina dahil lang sa high revs. hindi man lang sa uphill or heavyload nagoverheat. just a straight road high revving plus no aircon pa yun.

Drain your fuel system and replace with fresh diesel. Anyway, the gas station should do this free of charge.

Gasoline will damage your diesel injection system and engine as well. Severity will depend on the the mix ratio.

to make sure, drain the fuel filter as well.

I believe naman that the diesel engine can withstand a few gasoline mix. but it's a risk that you cannot afford kahit mighty old school Isuzu pa yan.

Its a GASOLINE ENGINE mixed w/ DIESEL FUEL not the other way around.

I don't think so v6. except for 4JG and you, we are talking about diesel engines with gasoline mix.

Contaminating the diesel with petrol has several adverse effects that the cleanest diesel and best filters cannot prevent, such as loss of ubrication, viscosity and cetane number, manifesting itself in leaking plungers and seals, premature ignition, engine knock and pump and injector wear.

All lead to inevitable failure of valves, turbochargers, pistons, rings and bearings.

A most damaging of result is the loss of lubricity. The inherent lubricity of diesel is essential for the lubrication of the fuel pumps and injectors, without which wear and seizure are very real possibilities.

For every 1/2 per cent petrol contamination there is an approximate 8ºC drop in the flashpoint. Gasoline is very volatile and explosive. It is more explosive than the common bombs used by the military or terrorists.

CORRECTION: Gasoline is more explosive than the gunpowder.

Energy Secretary Angelo T. Reyes has warned the transport sector on the ill-effects of the use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on an engine system that has not been yet properly tested.Specifically, Reyes was referring to a dual fuel system which utilizes in-line blending of diesel (70 percent) and LPG (30 percent).LPG is some what like a gas, that can be mixed with diesel, but the problem is, there's no study yet for the effect for health, engine, power.
