My friend expirence, gas ang ride nya nahaluan ng diesel at syempre tumirik sya, gabi noon mga 11pm na at hindi pa kalayuan sa gas station mga 50meter siguro, syempre gas lang agad ang suspetsa..balik sya agad sa station at mag reklamo, ginawa nya ay humingi sya ng galon at gumamit ng hose para sa fuel pump nya, manually pump it and try to start umandar naman sya, gas to diesel mixture(25%only) not posible, but diesel to gas mixture(25% only ay umandar pa, same with kerosene mix with diesel----pero hindi nga para dito ang design nya....stay pa din kung diesel or gas lang sya...pero if incase lang din naman....peace

Dapat i-drain kaagad ang tangke. You would not want to risk your diesel engine from unnecessary damage....

Side note,- sana katulad sa ibang bansa na ang nozzle ng diesel pump sa mga gas stations ay maisasaksak mo lang sa isang sasakyan na diesel ang makina. And the same is true sa nozzle ng gas pump....

Kaya nga ako, medyo nag-iisip muna ng marahan lalo na kung nagpapakarga. Kasi ang isang van namin ay gas at ang isa naman ay diesel...

Contaminating the diesel with petrol has several adverse effects that the cleanest diesel and best filters cannot prevent, such as loss of ubrication, viscosity and cetane number, manifesting itself in leaking plungers and seals, premature ignition, engine knock and pump and injector wear.

All lead to inevitable failure of valves, turbochargers, pistons, rings and bearings.

A most damaging of result is the loss of lubricity. The inherent lubricity of diesel is essential for the lubrication of the fuel pumps and injectors, without which wear and seizure are very real possibilities.

For every 1/2 per cent petrol contamination there is an approximate 8șC drop in the flashpoint. Gasoline is very volatile and explosive. It is more explosive than the common bombs used by the military or terrorists.

Energy Secretary Angelo T. Reyes has warned the transport sector on the ill-effects of the use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on an engine system that has not been yet properly tested.Specifically, Reyes was referring to a dual fuel system which utilizes in-line blending of diesel (70 percent) and LPG (30 percent).LPG is some what like a gas, that can be mixed with diesel, but the problem is, there's no study yet for the effect for health, engine, power.
