    thanks.

yup i also noticed na mas mura nga sa mga auto shop and even sa true value ang oil. Hmmm i dont know the reason for this but im guessing its got something to do with the gasoline stations not being allowed to sell cheaper than shops to protect their retailers. kasi if its cheaper from them directly, shops wouldnt bother selling these.

Hassle pa sa gas stations is that a good number require that you use the same oil products as their brand. This would probably entail that a lot of their customers would just buy from them when they have their oil changes to save the hassles of canvassing for a cheaper place to get the oil of the same brand in another shop.

Like the Shell Fully Synthetic sells at P499 sa Megamall.

Sabi sa akin noon ng Field Manager for Lubes ng CPInc., some autoshops order in bulk. They get discounts or trade deals kaya nakakapagbaba sila ng price. Chip also has a point.

Sorry bossing, Caltex brand lang ang dala namin kapag lubricants...wala yung tri-synthetic oil sa amin...kung di ako nagkakamali sa Mobil1 ito di ba???...IMHO the word "tri" has something to do with the additives or its just a marketing strategy...mineral, semi-syn at fully syn lang naman ang mga langis. Research muna ako sa tri-syn na iyan...
