June 5th, 2008 10:07 AM #1hi,
i just had my change oil last march. my car already ran more or less 1000 km. newly changed oil shows a golden color right? when in inspected it this morning, i noticed that it already lost its golden brown color. its like a little bit on the off-side of the golden brown, but not black or dark. i am using turbo xp oil that came from mitsu casa.
does this mean anything on the performance of the engine? hindi ba parang masyado maaga para magbago agad kulay ng langis?

June 5th, 2008 10:32 AM #4Would there be issues if i will be replacing my oil brand in my next oil change? i am planning on getting RP, but of course with the same viscosity as the turbo xp. or do i have to change viscosity?

June 6th, 2008 04:13 AM #7that's normal. oil not only as lubricant but detergent as well. change in color caused by mixture of burned fuel (soot) being scrapped down in the chamber during combustion

Bro have you tried using engine flush? I think kaya madaling magdarken oil mo its because of carbon deposits at saka deposits ng wear and tear ng engine mo na di matangal sa engine mo during change oil..

OT: question lang hindi ba masama kung gagamit ka ng engine flush during oil change? may nakapagsabi kasi sa kin na hindi daw advisable kung mag engine flush ka pa..
