Sir Jackaroo,
Hindi naman po siguro mag-breakdown in my case. hehehe. Nakita ko po kasi yung research circa mid 80's (usong-uso ang turbo sa US during this time) regarding use of mineral oil on turbo engines. They really had to run hard (fast spinning turbos) and long to break the oil down before the 5K kms was up.

September 15th, 2003 01:57 PM #23Piss,
I got my SR at Toyota Shaw Ortigas (along C5).
Maikli lang pila sa appointment; baka konti lang nagpapa-service or talagang malaki capacity nila. Pero hindi pa rin sila on the dot sa pagtapos ng trabaho. I was made to wait for 2 hours to complete the 1K PMS. Grabe, hindi daw kasi nasimulan kaagad eh.
I just learned na marami silang OJT. Not sure kung sa Thunder service ina-assign or dun sa regular service.
So far OK naman service nila. Naayos naman lahat ng palpak sa unit ko:
- no sound in speakers (12 hours after I got the unit)
- bubbles sa tint (rear)
- rough idling
Sana wala nang lumabas ng palpak.
Sir Ungas, hindi talaga malalaman kung tunay ngang synthetic oil yung nilagay unless you will request to be present while they pour on the oil. I guess pure trust na lang ang mangyayari.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
