Napansin ko lang na pag mainit na yung makina ng 97 Accord, umiilaw ang CEL tapos namamatay ang makina. Usually, 15 - 20 mins. after using the car (kahit I'm on the road and cruising at 30kmh). Tapos, when I re-start, puro redondo na lang, hindi tumutuloy. Pag malamig na ang makina, (again, mga 15 minutes after the engine dies), one-click na ang start. CEL wil log a fault in the ECU, and keep it stored as long as you don't disconnect the battery. This can be scanned by Honda or any good workshop which has scan capability; and the fault will immediately be pinpointed, no guesswork.

I used to think na fuel pump ang problem, pero given the circumstances, mukhang hindi.

Anybody here who has a similar problem? Am starting to think na baka engine coil. Magkano ba engine coil ngayon for 5th Gen Accord? You won't be guessing if it's the fuel pump, coil, etc. that's causing the problem... Trial and error parts replacement will cost you more in the long run, and you may not even be able to correct the true fault.
