20w-50? yikes ang lapot nyan para sa city.

i'd go no lower than 10w-40, maybe 10w-30 for any honda manufactured after 1990. maliliit na kasi clearances ng makina sa loob. 20w-50 will work, but expect a slight dip in fuel economy.

5w-30, pwede, pero i have to report, na when i used caltex's 5w-30 havoline for 6 months, biglang nagka-meron ng scuff marks yung roller cam lobes ng CRV 1st gen ko. i saw this nung tinanggal yung rocker cover for periodic tune up and valve adjustment. so i went back to 10w-40/30.

    among the 3

i would go for Mobil1 Delvac since its made for diesel engine oil
Royal purple is a great oil, I think it can be use on diesel engines too.

Castrol is on the bottom to me, the only thing that catches my attention on Castol oils are their Syntec lineup w/ are not available in our country coz we still use their old version of it the castrol RS

You can use the RP 5w40 for diesel but its only rated as CF. CF rating while still in use, has been surpassed by newer standards. As I stated earlier, the RP 15w40 or 10w40 are the RP variants for diesel engines.
