Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?

I have been using Shell helix hx5 and sometimes if i want synthetic I use Top 1 SDO. I hope this are good oil and pricewise they are cheap.

all engine oil companies always recommend following your vehicle oil change intervals. motuls intervals below are based on hyundais recommendation..



do i change my oil very 6months or do i change every 5000km? its easy i change monthly because i do 5000km monthly. some idiot will probably do 6months regardless of distance travelled.

Yes I trust shell and top 1. Before im just using toyota mineral oil and shell hx5 might be better for the engine.

Does an opened bottle of engine oil have shelf life? I have a 1Gal of engine oil that I use only for top-up and is already 3yrs can I still use it?
