there are numerous oils to choose from sir. from budget meal to high end.

for budget oils here are some to mention:
1. Caltex Delo Gold Ultra 15W40 mineral oil - 230 /Liter
2. Mobil Delvac MX 15W40 Mineral oil - 250 /Liter
3. Zic or Bardhal - not sure about the pricing pero these are pretty affordable good oils
4. Valvoline_All_Fleet_Premium 15w40 - 240/Liter

High end oils budget of around 500-600 per liter.
1. Mobil 1 0W40 - Fully Synthetic -
2. Royal Purple - you cant go wrong with this one.
3. Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 10w40 FS - 450 per liter at Cash and Carry

make sure you use a good oil filter like baldwin, fleetguard, donaldson, wix,
avoid like plague VIC, Fram, OEM
If you cant get any of the food filters above, some good over the counter filters are Bosch, Purolator.

between the two 5w30 & 10w40,
ano ba talaga ang best suited for new cars?

i read somewhere in BTOG that 5w30 daw are better suited for newer cars kasi hindi pa loose yung mga engine components, 10w40 better for older cars. nakakalito lang.

^^ yung viscosity rating na _W30, up to 30 degC lang yata engine operating temp. Dapat yata sa Pinas eh _W40

If you check the chart below, at high temperatures, 40 can go beyond what 30 can do.
