question lang po mga sirs:

ang oil capacity ng sasakyan ay 6 liters, pero during change oil, nasa 5.20-5.50 lang nailalagay and sakto na sa dip stick, yung sobra po bang oil pwede ko pa gamitin sa next change oil? mga 3-4months ang tagal para 5liters na lang bilhin ko? or di na pwede at contaminated na?

I have been using the new CI-4 mineral oil for quite sometime now, parang wala naman ako noticed na difference.

Butt dyno usually wala talaga. Dapat sa analysis may lumabas na difference hehe

Yes, Fs to Mineral or vice versa pwede.

thicker oil will make your engine quieter. yan ginagawa ng buy and sell sa diesel engine. para tahimik.

CI-4 rated oils contain more additives compared to lower rated oils.

Around P1200 din ang bili ko sa 5L bottle. Not sure if P1100 or P1200. May less 100 pa kasi nung bumili ako. Para sure, sa Caltex ka mismo bumili.

for non-turbo applications and when vehicle is not subjected to very harsh conditions, 5w40 or even 10w30 will provide better mileage for the same protection... that is for gasoline engines...

sa diesel engines kasi especially those with turbo,
the oil will shear faster,lose viscosity sooner, due to heat and pressure...

it will really be a decision between fuel efficiency or protection that the vehicle owner has to pick...hehe...
pero IMO, wala ako paki sa fuel efficiency, im always after performance and protection...
anuhin mo ang makina na fuel efficient at maganda emmission rating kung masisira agad at mag-uusok much sooner...

Sa diesel engine, In my opinion, for our weather its either 10w40 and 15w40 and perfect viscosity.

meron pa akong nakikitang mga monograde oil, do you use it for flushing?

hindi ako nag flushing ever since.... pero i used auto-rx...
sa auto-rx kasi dahan dahan nalilinis, it works as you use the car...

hindi na kasi kailangan i-flush basta alaga naman sa oil change at nasa tamang interval,
unless siguro gunk-up or meh sludge na yung engine which could be dangerous if suddelny ma-dislodged pag nag flushing dahil babara sa oil passages....

kase yung CH-4 / CI-4 / CJ-4 oils ay malakas ang detergency and cleaning capabilities, so nalilinis na din internals ng engine as you use it.

I just purchased 4 liters of delo gold ultra * caltex masambong for 238 per liter. pricey.

What's the difference of the gold ultra to the gold ones? Bago kasi ako bumili nakadaan ako sa dalawang auto shop, 700++ lang yung 1 gallon ng delo gold eh.
