    Done DIY oil change on my Honda beat scooter. I've used DGU. So far okay naman ang result. The ride is much smoother now.

    Mas hahaba po ba oil change interval ko if I always use Euro 4 na diesel? While mag papalit pa din ako ng Oil Filter after 5k tapos Top up lang ako after. Currently using Motul TRD CRDI for my 09 Sta Fe.

    sir jmpet, the answer is no. imo, the only thing that can extend your oil change interval is a good quality combination of fully synthetic oil and an oil filter. I'm using Baldwin + RP oil combo and I'm running up to 10k kms interval.

    Does anyone have any firsthand info on Mobil 1 0W40 on a Civic 1.8 (R18)? My 6th year (currently 63k odo) PMS is coming up and I have been using Honda FullSynth 5W40 all my car's life (except for the one time it was on Honda FullSynth 0W20). Thought I'd like to treat it to some really nice oil.

    I have been using Mobil 1 0w-40 (Silver quart bottle - US version) for the past two years already, but not in a FD. I only change oil once a year since my rides don't exceed 3,000 kms annually.

    Its also pricey at >Php550/liter from online sellers. (s*lit - somehow a prohibited word in tsikot?)

    But if you check the article/link below, this particular oil did not do so well in the test.

    PS: The article looks a bit dated already.

    Sa 09 Sta Fe before Semi Synth HGMO with OEM filter kada 5k ang palit. Now gamit ko Motul TRD Fully Synth extend ko to 10k pero palit pa din filter every 5k and top up lang if ever mag bawas ng oil level.

    Currently running na for 4000kms yung Motul TRD and di pa ganun ka dark yung oil.
