anybody know where i can have nylon fuel hose fabricated? i tried repairing the fuel hose with different type epoxies, the only adhesive that worked close was methyl methacrylate but it still leaked

You can buy fuel hose from auto supply, just bring your sample.. or try checking power steering hose shops they have various hose available

here's the situation,


the fuel tank is part of the structure and the cavity it goes into is very friggin' tight. the fuel hose it came with is shrunk fit to the plastic fuel canister fitting. the space between the tank and the floor/frame cross member is tight.
the hose it is equipped with it is a 5/16" nylon that is pre shaped into a tight curve for a little flexibility when installing the fuel tank back into the cavity.
the engineers at lotus designed it that whether you install this hose, or the fuel pump you either remove the convertible top to remove the driver's seat to gain access to the panel above the fuel tank when it is installed. but to replace the hose or the fuel pump, you still have to drop the stainless steel fuel pump. o, the other option i did, i dropped the fuel tank to gain access. mind you, you can't see the fitting to disconnect it. there is very lited space. if your hand is big, or your wrist is not flexible, it will be more challenging. you can find lotus elise fuel tank replacement on youtube. they abbreviated their procedure and they make it look too simple. i am planning of having the fuel hose fabricated in london. even lotus dealerships around england don't have it.
