    Ok yan, pero lagyan mo ng bote ang hose baka tumalsik sa mga sparkable.
    Blow the inlet of the filter pag na fill mo na magkaka beke ka barado na yan.
    Another way is to put a transparent hose from the line from the tank to filter to pump and watch the flow and bullbles that pass through it.
    Flush the line with air and observe kung may clog or singaw sa linya

    Hi po mga expert,
    I have the exactly the same situation and problem yun nga lang corolla 93gli ang oto ko.
    pinatingnan ko sa mekaniko sabi daw computer box ang sira kasi nung check nya ang current going to the fuel pump e di umilaw ang kanyang small tester bulb.
    di ko po alam kung talagang need magpalit ng computer box, so pano po talaga malaman kung computer box or fuel pump o filter ang me tama?
    ganun din po kasi nangyari sa kin gaya ki joseph20 na red light flashihng na ang fuel..
    please help...di ko alam kung san ang intake at outlet hose ng fuel to check kung ok ang fuel pump.

    that is the most part of guessing this kind of malfunction. if the "mechanic" is checking the output line to the fuel pump, he went too far first or he does not have a picture how toyota fuel dellivery system is laid out. the ECU or ECM or PCM as it called now is not and shall not be the first to blamed as the culprit. "when everything is beyond guess, blame the computer" mentality. the PCM does not deliver positive signal to the pump, it "enables" the CIRCUIT OPEN RELAY" usually located on the left kick panel in the fuse box number two(adjacent to your left ankle as you command your spaceship. the relay is a five terminal make type relay which enabled by the ST terminal in the ignition switch while the engine is being cranked and continued to be enabled afterwhich by the PCM when there is signal from the ignition system that the same PCM is now delivering signal to fire the igition coils. toyota logic is to enable the fuel pump (CIRCUIT OPEN RELAY) while you crank the engine and continue to
    enable it ignition is active. it is a chain reaction of events: 1. engine is cranking and/or ignition is active, 2. PCM enables the CIRCUIT OPEN RELAY, 3. the output of the relay delivers battery voltage to the fuel pump. tell your "mechanic" next time where he pokes his improvised test light as this can possibly harm or fry your computer. that is the wrong testeer to use on computer circuits in your car. also, check for a fuel pump fuse, toyota uses a yellow ATO or yellow MINI ATO fuse for this circuit. have the best of luck with your "mechanic" or he hasn't figured it out, email me direct.

    nakuh, thanks po sa lahat nag response! Very informative.
    Update ko lang po. Nung una, fuse po pala problema, fuse ng fuel pump pundi na base sa mechanic namin driver. So umandar na siya at naging ok siya a week. But, yesterday po namatay nanaman dahan2 while driving, redondo nalang merun,buti naitabi ko pa, but thanks God After a minutes, nag start na!

    Kanina po ayun, tumirik nanaman po ako, talagang tuluyan na po siya hindi na nag start, pa rescue na ko sa driver namin, pero, talagang electricals po. ayaw din po makuha sa kadyot, so ayun, hinatak nalang ng Xtrail namin. Cause is pumutok nanaman daw po kasi yung fuse at nag-iinit daw po yung isang relay. Una lakas redondo, til naubos na battery. Ayun po, sensya na sa long story.

    Ok naman Fuel Pump, pag check! Fuel filter, pinalitan ko last november, pero bumili na rin ako last week, OEM! Nilinis ko rin Air Filter(Cone Type) ko.
    Ok naman sparkplugs and alternator.

    Question ko po is, ano po kaya possible cause talaga why pumuputok yung fuse ng fuel pump? and any cons?? tnX

    Normal cause of blown fuse is an electrical problem. Fuses are the weak link of the system. They are desigbed to fail/blow to protect the rest of your electrical system. Have your car checked by a competent auto electrician. Possible may short or ground sa fuel pump.

    Dati I was having the same problem with emptying my gas and apparently my engine's fuel line got clogged pero not to the point of not starting, pag umaandar nga lng e sluggish ung takbo to the point of parang nabasa ng langis ung sparkplugs, I checked the plus, it was dry, i re-adjusted my ignition timing, still the same, I had it checked, d din ma pinpoint ng mechanic sira (4AGE 20V S/T engine ko pala), then out of desparation I tried some fuel injection cleaner and I doubled the dosage :-), after a few minutes sobrang pulido agad takbo ng engine ko, better than before the problem started, so if you're asking kung may remedyo pa sa clogged fuel lines, personally I think yes without changing parts.

    yup, pakiradam ko po is fuel pump, but when it chech, maayos pa! And lakas pa elctricity. Our driver mechanic said na, baka my grounded daw, kasi pumuputok yung fuse ng fuel pump!

    Kanina umaga when we open and check the fuel pump, we test the motor pump, ayos naman, umaandar, also some parts, but napansin namin na medyo may part na sunog na sunog dun sa wire ng fuel pump!! why kaya nagkaganun? Hindi siya fuel pump, so electrical problem po kaya? in what part po kaya meron grounded?

    update ko lang po mga sir! May sira na raw po motor ng fuel pump ko, explain nya is , pag umiinit na fuel pump motor, yung ang nag caucause ng pag putok ng fuse! Wala naman grounded! Solution nya is, i-convert na yung fuel pump ko sa universal pump, so ilalabas o ilalagay na yung fuel pump ko sa hood near at fuel filter. Ayos lang po ba kung ipa-convert ko nalang?? Mahal kasi ng brandnew fuel pump na electronic, it cost P6k! Sa universal, cost me at 1k only!
