I suggest you go to a trusted shop, kasi kung do it yourself medyo tricky yan. pag masyadong tumaas lakas sa gasolina nun pag masyado namang bumaba baka mamatayan ka parati ng makina. A good mechanic knows how to properly set it dependent on the requirements of your car. Anyhow when you go for a tune up kasama yan sa standard service.

it's on side of the carb morpheus, you know where the throttle linkage is, yung end ng cable connecting d gas pedal to the carb...it's usually a slotted (flat head) screw protruding...it's turned counterclock wise till the throttle linkage stops, then 6 - 8 full turns clockwise to the desired idle speed...use a a designated dwell/tachometer and not the dashboard tachometer for a more accurate reading/ adjustment.

May 9th, 2007 03:07 PM #10AFAIK, for efi, the computer box automatically adjusts the idle. Bring it to your trusted mechanic if ever you encounter problems with your idle. Alam ko may nililinis sa servo.
Since you got this 2nd hand, its a good idea to change the drive belt (its cheap anyway). Also...
