Hot Starting Problem?

Bakit yung L3 ko pag malamig ang makina ok yung starting, pero kung mainit na tapos e start mo ulit mahina ang ikot ng starter? stater ba o battery.

could be both. pacheck mo charging ng battery and kung malakas naman sya baka starter nga may sira.

sounds like starter that is going bad. When its cold the starter is fine but when its heat up there are too many electrical resistance and the starter turns the engine over too slow to start the vehicle. When you say Hard To Start over you mean slow cranking...then the starter is the problem, it happen a lot.

sir parang baligtad ata yung L300 namin dito mahirap iistart pag malamig pero pag uminit 1 click agad sa tingin ko boss starter baka naninikit

or boss baka me grounded?

check your coolant temperature sensor.

Right! Its possible that your engine is very hot but you cant see the right temp reading sa gauge.
Parang plancha/iron ang piston at liner pag sobrang mainit naninikit.
What you can do if it happens again is refill the cooling system with colder water, if possible open the radiator's drain plug and replace the water.
If it starts instantly after, it confirms the problem.

mga sir. nangyayari rin sa akin yan. kahit na mdyo bago pa battery ko. minsan pag sinubukan i-start parang ayay tumuloy. pag nangyayari sa akin yon, nag aantay ako ng mga 5-10 sec bago ko i-start ulit. tpos ok na. starter kaya problema pag ganon?

It will depend on what you hear during start up.
Pag bendix drive may click pero walang redondo.
Minsan slow motion pero malakas and pitik sa simula.

Do you know whether reduction or regular starter ang nakakabit sa iyo?
Either weak battery or may sayad na yung starter and diagnosis ko.

well medyo complecated to, pero as of my knowledge it seem's your engine has a problem in circulation of your coolant, the water pump might be wear out, since the water sensor install beside or around the pump the reading it gives are only from the out side temperture, sobrang init na sa loob ng makina kasi hindi na maka flow ang coolant, try to check it, buksan mo ang radiator cap at tingnan mo ang tubig sa loob kapag umaandar sya, kapag rev mo ng gas pedal syempre bibilis ang rpm mo dapat mabilis din ang flow nito sa loob ng radiator mo........

When engine is cold, one click start only.

When the engine is warm (middle of the temperature gauge), it is hard starting (slow cranking) on first try. But it starts right away on the second try.

Battery is just 10 months old.

Engine fluids and air filter are all ok.

What might be causing this problem?

No codes? Have your fuel rail pressure & coolant temperature sensor checked. A faulty sensor will send will confuse the ECU.

There's a lot of possibilities that cause this kind of problem. Some possible reason would be bad wiring, worn starter, bad battery, problem on the charging system. But mostly this is due to a bad starter. But before concluding the problem, you might want to check your battery and cables. You can check and diagnose those parts and try to repair it. not sure about Ford... pero some engines like the local 2C ng FX hindi adjustable yung valves kaya easiest solution is... change engine

normal issue ito sa diesel.
