September 25th, 2009 12:37 AM #1Mag papa change oil po ako this oct. Gamit ko dati shell helix super,gusto ko po palitan sana ng brand and grade! Gusto ko po sana gamitin valvoline,ok lang ba gumamit lower viscosity grade gaya ng 15w-40? Honda accord 1997-98 po tsikot ko? Any other suggestions?

much better if you can use the same viscosity, but of other brands. Mobil is a good brand, imho.

helix super is 20w-50 and it is too thick for your engine.
a 10w-40 or even a lower viscosity i think is much better for your accord.

How about this Mobil Super 1000 15W 40 on the Ace hardware store cost only 805.00 / Gallon . It says for petrol ang Lpg car.

yun ang cause ng hard starting mo too thick kasi ang 20w-50
much better na sundin mo suggestion ni v6dreamer
speed,
para sa akin bad ang experience ko sa mineral at semi syn ng mobil
nung nag-adjust ako ng valve clearance nangitim ang rocker arm at iba pa.
kaya balik ako sa helix plus

sentra yung pinaggamitan ko ng mobil. may kapitbahay akong mekaniko hehehe
silver is my favorite color. i can get away with not cleaning the car for long-ish periods of time....
