Ano kaya dahilan nito?
walang O2 sensor ang 4AFE, ang malamang na prob mo ay yung aircon idle up switch (not the solenoid), eto yung nasa gitna ng firewall may parang knob sya to adjust the vacuum (big plastic knob kung Sanden, flat screw slot for Denso).
Anong year ang Corolla mo? kung 93-94 Sanden yan, mga 2K ata bnew, kung Denso di ako sure but you can call Denso Coolmate at 8441493.
Dinala ko sa banawe and tried swapping out the idle up a couple of times, i guess it was the switch since may flat screw na pihitan.. still, di bumaba ang rpm.
We also tried to replace the whole throttle assemby (twice pa) but the rpm was still at 1200-1400.
the mechanic then changed the distributor, same thing. he adjusted the alignment of the distributor, medyo bumaba but still at 1000 rpm...
di mo pwede adjust ang idling ng Corolla, babalik ng ECU sa kung ano man data na natatangap nya through the different sensors in the car. Kung ako sayo bite the bullet and bring it to casa for a diagnosis...

mr. freeman,
i think mr. theeved has a point. as i told you in one of this threads, ganyan din problem ng ride ko. 1400 rpm kung off ang a/c and 1000 pag naka-engage. Nangyari ito, as i remember, nabali ng mekaniko ang idle compensator and pinalitan ng replacement (di kagaya ng naka-litrato), ganito na ang labas, na mata-as ang rpm ng makina. di ko lang ma-asikaso ngayon kasi la ako sa pinas, kumakayod para me pampa-ayos ng oto.
If the casa is too expensive for you. You can try Delta Motors. There's 1 near Cubao, 1 in Marikina, as far as I know. They specialize in Toyota cars but significantly cheaper than Toyota casa itself.
I had my idling fixed there too. My problem was only a clogged throttle body and the whole thing was solved by cleaning. I don't know exactly what's the problem with yours but I'm pretty sure the mechanics there can provide you with a remedy.
Pre, baka may singaw ang intake manifold gasket mo. one way to find out is to get a fropane torch (sumisingaw na walang sinde) then bring it closelly all around to the gasket and when the engine speed or RPM increase thats it.
Using a 2000 Hyundai Sonata GLS. SO dapat pagkastart ng oto, 0 rpm bsta idle
