sirs,

ano kaya possible problem ng car ko, kanina umaga habang papunta ako ng office namin bigla parang sinisinok yun makina ko plus pag nagbukas ako ng ilaw lumalabas yun check engine light...?? any one who experienced the same?

ride ko nga pala sir is lancer 94 glxi..tnx

Baka mababa ang voltage mo. Check the electricals first.

check engine light is a signal that something is wrong in either the electronics, sensors or others. Best have a good mechanic take a look... or better yet, to your trusted casa.

pa check mo sa casa. kc pag sa banawe ka pumunta d pa nila sure yun.. at least pag sa casa may warranty pa..

pacheck mo alternator baka mababa charging . or baka madumi na air filter kaya parang nagchochcoke

Ang sabi sakin sa casa, pag umilaw daw yung check engine light, posible rin sa computer box yung problema. maganda siguro punta ka na lang casa para sure ang pag-diagnose sa problema.

Computer box, fuel filter, high tension wires, etc.. there are many possible culprit to pin point what made your engine choke.

gusto ka kasi nila gawing milking cow kaya nila sinasabi agad na computer box ang problema or sira.

tnx sa mga comments and sugegstions guys, ni try ko tanggalin yun connection ng battery, so far so good naman, d pa nagloko ulit.

what it did is reset your computer box.. minutes after reconnecting the battery.. the computer will go on a sort of familiarization mode.. wherein it will map out the best and optimum settings for the current condition your engine is in....

so.. baka nga naging ok.. kasi nakapagreset na ng settings yung computer to compensate for the "check engine"... pero still doesnt remove the fact na you had a problem to start with.

Check engine means a lot of things.. you need a diagnostic computer to get the MIL code or the check engine code (kung ilang blinks) para mapinpoint mo kung alin talaga yung error.. by doing so.. you could isolate the problem.. and fix it.. before it does any more damage.

As what others have pointed out.. it may simply be a HT wires problem.. to the worst an ECU problem.
