help: engine jerk/buck

napansin ko lang bigla na lang bumagsak yun rpm to 0 kapag nag-decelerate. yun tunog nun engine parang garalgal.

pero after a while, biglang nag-ok naman... normal na ang idle o recovery from decelaration rpm nya (600-750 rpm).

twice na nangyari sa c5 at edsa.. kala ko ititirik ako, inapakan ko na lang yun gas para tumaas yun rev.

btw, car pala ay 99 ford lynx. thanks!

kelangan mo nang palitan gas filter mo. ipacheck mo na rin fuel lines mo at fuel tank baka madumi na.

yun unang nangyari friday (9/3) pm along c5, then tuesday (9/7) pm sa edsa. ginamit ko yun car nun saturday, sunday, monday at tuesday am, ok naman.

ngayon dala ko ulit yun car, ok naman. no indication of the problem. hmmmm.. kapapalit lang last july ng fuel filter (50k PMS).

hmmmmmnnnnn nakapagtataka nga :-). at that time kaya hindi contaminated yung fuel mo??? anyway enjoy your ride. sana wag nang mangyari yun ulit. :-)

do you get fault codes from your engine computer? it could be the fuel injection system.

i remember the good old days of carbureted cars...the hours of cleaning and tuning so this (really annoying) problem would go away ;)

fuel filter din hula ko, or water in the fuel tank. baka hindi mahigpit yung tank filler cap papasukan yan ng condensation pag gabi.
