    My car's catalytic converter is attached under the car. So it's a matter of just moving it to the new setup. But in my case, I had a turbo upgrade on my corolla so I removed the stock catalytic and replaced with a larger capacity version.

    Actually its a matter of matching the proper exhaust layout for your engine's performance to maximize it's gains.

    okay so papasa po pala hehehe... okay I'll get ung stainless steel sa mufflerland any design na pwede ko macopy? 4-2-1 nalng kukunin ko since hindi nmn ako nag hihirevving parati tsaka baka with this performance header matone down ung sound ng exhasut ko.

    eto pla ung pic nung ginawa sa stock headers ko na gusto ko na mapalitan:

    Why not just remount the catalytic under the car? ... the reason why the catalytic is mounted close to the engine is to make it light off earlier. Mounting it a bit further away would delay the light off but not impede it's function.

    anu po pala ung piping size ng headers ko is 2 inches is enough? or too big para sa 4 pipes ng headers?

    anu po ung light off will that affect the flow? or restrict the flow? okay i was thinking of relocating it at the end of the headers then the scub... i'll draw it here it, will this be okay?



    kung okay yan palalagyan ko ng flange para bolt on sa existing exhaust setup ko kung sakali papaemission test ako salpak tpos alis nalang ulit, hehehe!

    "light off" refers to the catalytic converter reaching it's operating temperature. It will not affect the flow. It will just affect the amount of time required for the catalytic converter to reach operating temperature, which means, if you are going to do an emissions test, you have to remember to warm up the engine well so the catalytic is also warmed up.

    the location is fine but i'll warn you that a scub exhaust isn't worth it.

    Since you are dead-set to going scub ... you might want to do 4-1 headers with 1.25 inch primaries and exiting to 1.75 inch main exhaust piping.

    ahh hehehe! may plano na po ako gagawin ko nlng bolt on ung catalytic like the one posted by v6dreamer para pwede ko ikabit agad or alisin,.

    ang stock pipings po pala ng Rio ko is 2 inches lahat, nagulat nga kami pero 2 inches parin ang nilagay ko na scub kakatakot baka kasi masungaw sya..

    tanung ko lang gusto ko po ung parang ramhorn na headers san kaya ung pwede ko pag gayahan?

    anu kaya ang pinaka best na headers sakin 4-1 or 4-2-1

    kasi eventually mag muffler din ako gusto ko lang maexperience ung ganito ung car minsan lang gamitin once a week ikot lang sa village pasyal lng minsan. may ibang car pa kasi kmi binili ko si baby Rio para may pag aari ako hehehe ung akin basta di ko maexplain cguro isa na ko sa pinaka bata d2 sa forum. di ko pa magagalaw ung engine kasi mavovoid ung warranty kaya I/H/E mods lang po...
