Wow that's good to hear. Does the assembly include 1 filter cartridge or is it charged separately? Pretty cheap if it includes the cartridge.

Here's my DIY OCC for the 4JA1 engine of my Fuego, PS fluid reservoir with Scotch Brite steel wool shavings inside. Sa Corolla bigbody 4AFE engine, wala oil sa rubber hose papunta sa intake, trapped lahat sa reservoir. Newly installed pa lang sa 4JA1, will observe for a month pa.

^For pollution control. That is the same reason for EGR routing exhaust gasses back to the intake. The proper method is to dump the oil back to the sump or collect it in your used oil containers for proper disposal. Imagine if all vehicles would do the same dumping in the road, well end up with oiley pavement just like in the early40s where its not illegal yet to vent those unburnt gasses. BTW those provent have a bung designed to route bak the oil to the sump.

my provent occ i bought from fellow mscp member. yung drain niya sa ilalim kinabitan ko ng clear hose (tapered sa end) so its not directly dripping sa ground. i drained it every 2 mos kada uwi ko ng pinas, approx every 5k kms. i normally get 1 or 2 tablespoons of trapped blowby oil. not bad kesa mapunta sa intercooler at sa intake manifold.
