oo nga ala naman sa manual yung word "temporary" as based on my Honda Manual Copyright 1992 by HCPI and on page 81 states.
    1. Only use an SF or SG grade motor oil, with a weight of 20w-40 or 20w-50. (FOR MANUAL TRANSMISSION) the transmission should be drained and refilled with new oil every 12 months or 20000km whichever comes first.
    2. For Automatic transmission Use Honda Premium Formula or Dextron II Automatic Transmission Fluid.
Yun lang..... kso e2 yung for models 92-94.
Try to read your car's manual na lang para hindi nakakagulo sa pagiisip ng iba bk kung anu-anung oil pa ang mailagay natin sa transmission natin magkalokoloko pa....

    chieffy,
lahat ba ng caltex station may engine/transmission oil dispenser for easy transmission change oil? Lahat ba ng stations isa lang ang type na gnagamit na oil for Transmission oil? Bkt parang ibang grade/sae yung cnasabi nila... ndi SAE 20w-40 parang grade 90 or something... thanx

    primeforce,

usually merong dalawang(2) gear oil dispenser and mga gas stations(it's one of the primary source of income ng service/lube bays)...madalas na nakalagay sa mga gear oil dispensers na iyon ay Thuban GL4 SAE 90(for light vehicles) at sa isa naman ay Thuban GL4 SAE 140 (for trucks/bigger vehicles)...in the case of Caltex gas stations, pwede nila sundin yung nasa CALG kung walang car owner's manual yung customer...sa CALG nakalagay ang Caltex's lubricant recommendation meeting OEM specifications...naka-NOTE din naman sa CALG that it is best to refer to your vehicle service manual

as per your car's manual, pwede naman engine oil na may API service rating na SF or SG with SAE na 20W-40 or 50 kaya yun na lang ipalagay mo...sa akin hindi gear oil dispenser ang ginamit...gumamit yung mechanic ng funnel na may mahabang hose...

if you to know more about API-GL service rating just read previous posts
