Ilang Kilometer Reading Ng Odometer Bago E Change Ang Gear Oil Help Sir Otep
Check your manual. Sa Besta sobrang dalas, every 20,000kms. Dun sa ibang sasakyan minsan every 40,000kms lang.

according to my Dmax manufacturer's manual (which is different from dealer's PMS) every 40,000 km. puede rin every 30,000 km. just use the right classification of axle oil with proper selection of viscosity. if you are using FUEGO, it might be GL-5 class with SAE of 90 or 140. for my '94 model isuzu pick up, i use SHELL SPIRAX GL-5 with SAE of 140. The SAE 90 works in the MAXIMUM temp of 37 deg C ambient or surrounding temp...
to be safe, around 20,000 kms..... para parati advance ka sa wear and tear ng gears... huwag mong patagalin kahit city driving lang kc meron din life span ang oil....
2dmax-- our dmax is rily at 20,000kms and thats recommended by the plant... hindi talaga masunod ang nakalagay sa engine or hood kc its would differ from climate of one country to the other... so we shoudl follow the recommended change oil interval stated by the casa kc yun ang pinapagawa ng isuzu plant... i use PITTPEN gl-5 85w140... its a multigrade differential oi...
kung sa fuego, its 20,000kms... with gl-5 140 grade.... and the trans is an engine oil if manual trans.. A/T is a DEXRON III... better punta ka nalng ng casa tukong.....
im interested ano nga pala mang yayari pag di napalitan ung gear oil ? have anyone of you experienced any bad things that hapend due to it ?
4wd Po!!! Pano Po Kung Di Mu Mapapalitan Ang Gear Oil Masisira Po Ba
Philippine conditions are still far from the worst possible conditions which vehicles are tested for. Even environmental conditions in Australia or the Mid-East can get harsher than what we have locally and traffic conditions in other developing countries make EDSA seem like an expressway. So always take what the dealer says with a grain of salt. Keep in mind that more frequent intervals gives them more income, so they will do almost anything to push increased service intervals. Don't worry, this doesn't only happen in the Philippines, even in the U.S. this problem is rampant. Car and Driver magazine always has to adjust its 'cost of ownership' computations on their long term test vehicles because dealers keep charging them for unecessary services on their test cars.hindi talaga masunod ang nakalagay sa engine or hood kc its would differ from climate of one country to the other..
They already wrote an article on the matter. They compared the dealers' service schedule vs. the manufacturers' and the boy was the difference huge. Other dealer tactics included in the article included pushing uber expensive lubricants (way beyond manufacturer recommended) and pushing non-recommended additives.
When there is a disparity between dealer recommended and manufacturer recommended (check manual), always follow manufacturer recommended. I guess it'll be up to you if you want to follow general, specialized [e.g. European or GCC market] or the severe service schedule. Just make sure it is the manufacturer recommended schedule. Not the dealer [trying to make his wallet fat] schedule.

Iyan ang pinapalitan ng gear oil sa 4WD. Iba-iba ang drain hole at fill hole niyan. So make sure you remove four drain bolts and you locate four fill holes.

YEP..
tama si otep. it's always better to follow the manufacturer's PMS, not the dealership's PMS. ung PMS stated sa manual natin is general for ASIAN countries with tropical climate. ibang version na kasi ng DMAX ung mga nasa cold countries with different engine, so their PMS differs from ours.. so don't be afraid if sinasabi ng mga dealers na yan na it will wear faster, they are not concern sa mga sasakyan natin, they just want to make money by insisting their PMS because it's part of their business..
Iba-iba naman schedule na recommended by the manufactuer depending on the market and they put it all in the manual. Example, in the Hyundai Starex manual there is a general service schedule, a schedule for European markets, and a severe service schedule.
Yung Kia Besta ko nga dati gusto pa lagyan ng fully synthetic ng casa. Hilo ba sila? Eh parang makina lang ng jeepney yun.
