    palitan mo lang filter, bleed a little and you're done. mahirap lang naman magpalit pag tulad sa paj na masikip. kinalas ko pa buong assembly

    Pag umilaw (minsan may kasabay na buzzer sound) lagpas na sa tolerance yung water/diesel na dumadaloy sa loob ng fuel filter. Kelangan mo luwagan yung sensor/ filter plug sa ilalim. Bombahin ang pump hanggang lumabas ang excess water, dirt & diesel. Higpitan pabalik ang sensor and try to pump it again hanggang tumigas ang pump. Try to start engine.

    sir ungas, question re: crosswind, separate kasi ang water separator ko sa fuel filter. 0nce a year ako magpalit ng fuel filter. how about yung water separator? tuwing kelan ko dapat i-drain? di ko pa naman na-experience umilaw ang water separator indicator. gusto ko kasing matutunan kahit tong mga minor replacement parts lang para iwas gastos na rin. maraming salamat ulit.

    yung sa L300 namin, after ko ma-assemble at ma-loosen yung bleed screw at filter plug sa ilalim, bakit nung pina-pump ko ng maraming beses na, wala pa ring lumalabas na fuel doon?

    kaya ginawa ko, hinigpitan ko na yung bleed screw at filter plug sa ilalim at inistart ko na lang, umaandar naman, tapos mga ilang minutes, parang nanginig then um-ok na ulit. ok na kaya yon?

    Baka po hindi drain plug yung naluwagan nyo? Yung drain plug mas maliit sa buong fuel alarm assembly that attaches to your fuel filter.

    bro,

    naka loosen pati yon, yung sa bottom part yun 'di ba?
    at yung bleed screw sa taas, ka level ng in and out na hose.

    Engr - its the air pockets that formed inside the fuel lines that made the sound different, thats why bleeding is needed to get rid of them. but after a while of running at high revs they might go away yun lang sometimes may palyado coz of the air.

    Yup, fuel should come out once pumped. Minsan nagbabara yung butas kulangan sunkiin ng safety pin.

    wala pa rin lumalabas na fuel kahit pump ako ng pump, puro hangin lumalabas, nasabi kong hangin kasi tunog hangin kada pump ko. mga 1 oras na yata ginagawa, wala pa rin. ano kaya problema?

    Kung walang mahigop palabas at puro kabag, malamang may air leak somewhere along your fuel line. Try to trace it with foam soaked in bubbles. Close all fittings first before attempting to trace the leak. Usually nagkakaroon ng air leak sa ilalim muna ng fuel filter.

    Or baka naman barado yung drain plug/hose?

    salamat po sir at napakasipag niyong sumagot sa mga tanong ko.

    siguro ang problema ay yung leak sa along fuel line, sinungkit ko na kasi ng safety pin yung bleed screw pero ganun pa din, puro hangin lumalabas.

    paano pala ma trace yung leak? hindi ba yung ganyang procedure ay kapag leak ng hangin ang tine trace kasi bubula siya gaya ng sa gulong?

    Kahit pahigop yung air leak bubula pa rin yung bubbles. Sa goma kasi balik palabas yung air leak kaya mas malaking bubbles, pag fuel line tracing mas maliit ang bubble forming. Some fuel traces could also be seen and felt.

    yung hose from fuel filter to engine soaked siya sa krudo, tapos may traces ng fuel leaks sa parts malapit sa both ends ng hose na iyon. kinalas ko at sinubukan ko ihipan at takpan yung kabilang dulo, parang wala namang singaw. hose clamp lang kaya problema?
    ito rin kaya dahilan kung bakit pump ako ng pump sa fuel filter e wala pa ring lumalabas? itong part lang kasi na ito ang may leak e, chineck ko yung iba from fuel tank and everything, walang leak.

    mga sir, sa 4ja-1, madali lang ba palitan fuel filter? ito ba yung parang oil filter na baligtad at me nakakabit na 2 maliit na hose? ano naman po yung me pindutan sa ibabaw? fuel pump po ba ito? salamat ng marami? gusto ko kasing matutunan magpalit. casa maintained kasi ride ko for the past 20K kms. (di ko nasisilip during service) maraming salamat
