Sundan mo lang ang fuel line either from the tank or from the injection pump. Check mo sa gallery ko kung may picture ng fuel filter. Usually canister-type siya with a hand pump on top.

Meron ding in-line (nasa fuel line mismo) na fuel filter. usually cylindrical ito and semi-transparent.

Pero ang mahirap sa assembled vehicle, baka hindi ito ikinabit ng assembler mo. Goodluck searching.

depends on the quality of diesel you use. i also have a surplus engine sa minicruiser ko and I usually change the fuel filter once a year pero if i had money i change it every 6 months kasabay ng palit ng oil, oil filter at air filter para swabe

FYI lang. I just replaced Fuel Filter of my FieldMaster last Saturday as I'm having difficulty getting it started in the morning. Big improvement on cold start response, its now more responsive when accelerating. For my ride, it is recommended to be replaced every 10K km.

    Sir Otep,
"Usually canister-type siya with a hand pump on top." Ito po ba yung handpump na pag-natutuyuan ng diesel e dito binobomba para lumabas yung hangin

Another question... what are the feedbacks on using OEM vs. replacement canister filters? Any recommended brand? My dilemma now is i want to change every 10,000m vs. every 20,000km that is recommended by the manual but the Frontier uses two fuel filters and it's quite pricey for the OEM (sets me back around 4K).

    What then is more adviseable?
    1. Status Quo: Change every 20,000km and stick to the OEM fuel filter
    2. Change every 10,000km but employ a replacement brand.
