erratic fuel gauge/hard starting problem

hi guys i want to know possible causes ng erratic fuel gauge? depende sa position ng car nagbabago ung gauge ko kasi... mahirap na baka kasi di ko mamalayan bka di na gumalaw tapos maubusan ako ng gas... also my car encounters a hard start pero intermitent... the engine does not crank kahit kapapalit lang ng battery.ang napansin ko kailangan mong i turn ung ignition ng mabilis for 3-5 times bago magstart... ano po possible causes nito and san pwede magpagawa? im in QC area and i work at ortigas any shops recommended... i also want to hear your thoughts..thanks in advance.... sori for my avatar... dami kasi nakakapansin hehehe

Pre re sa erratic fuel guage, Ano muna modelo ng car mo? if ur driving a toyota corolla big body, there is no way you can fix it. Ganyan talaga ang fuel guage ng modelo na yan, sometimes it will go up or down, it depend sa possition ng car mo. but dont wory just depend on the warning light of your fuel guage if your runing out of gas. Re hard starting, if there is no crank maybe its youre electrical system, either relay switch or yung starter mo na ang may deffect. Marami auto electricar shop dyan sa QC and you dont need a expert to fix it up bec minor lang naman yan.

Konsulta ko rin dito yung fuel gauge ko.

As of 7:30pm last night when I was leaving the office, my fuel gauge was still giving me the correct fuel reading, which was a notch below the 1/2 mark. Around 20 minutes later, while cruising along Katipunan Ave., I glanced at the gauge again, only to find that the needle was already pointing to 'Full'. It remained this way until I was already traversing the uphill roads of Antipolo, when I clearly saw the needle moving down and up between the 'Full' and 1/2 marks.

Ganyan pa din siya kaninang umaga; the needle was still pointing to 'Full' as I left home. When I briefly parked on a slanting sidewalk, the needle slid down to the 3/4 mark, then returned to 'Full' nung umarangkada na ako. Traversing Antipolo's downhill roads, gumalaw-galaw ulit yung needle from 'Full' to 1/2. There was a brief moment where the needle pointed to its original position (slightly past the 1/2 mark), pero after one minute balik na naman sa 'Full'.

If anyone asks, my ride is a diesel Mitsubishi Adventure, manual transmission.

Sa fuel gauge problem:

There was once here sa tsikot that had that problem. if i remember correctly wiring on the signal light or wire harness na nag ground affected the gauge.

same problem sa toyota corona ko. pabago-bago rin fuel guage level pag nagbabago slope ng kalsada. sana my solution pa.

fuel gauge sensor is like a wounded wire, then ung wiper is nakaconnect sa floater...

eto lang nakita ko sa multicab, kasi di na dumidikit ng maayos sa wire ung wiper...

defective fuel tank float (sbi nga ni radiazone) gastado na un.
about sa engine crank pwedeng defective starter relay, pwede rin contactor ng solenoid, defective ignition switch (gastado na rin) or ung wire from starter to fuse relay box minsan pag luto na ung wire due to wear n tear mahina na magdliver ng + voltage. check wire connection n socket also. kaya mo diy yan simple lang

hi ok naman na ung hardstarting ko nasolve nung naglagay cla ng relay kaya 1 click lang ok na...
