July 31st, 2007 08:37 PM #1Im thinking of an engine swap as a future project for my old rust bucket...
Things I want in this project is that:
* A fuel injected engine
* I was thinking if it is possible for a V6 pajero engine to mount on a manual/matic RWD Transmission.
*4G63 N/A would be simple and practical, but its too common. (but still my last option)
*Diesel is out of the question.
My donor car is an old Dodge Colt Wagon (Galant).
Any suggestions?
If you have, can you advice me on how to go about the installation of that certain engine?
Thanks!

You have a few choices... 4G63T... 4AGE, GZE or 20V... or an SR20DE or DET.
The SR20DE, to me, is attractive because it's cheap, relatively light (for a 2 liter engine) and it gives good low-down torque. With the popularity of drifting nowadays, there should be a lot of people bringing these engines in.

The RB engines might be too long for the car... and they're iron-blocks... really heavy.
