Hello ihave a 10 yr old toyota corolla 97 model.....and it went thorugh general overhaul last 2005...then it went through in overheat that results into a busted piston ring/rings.... and now it emmits a lot of huge white smoke [really huge].... Now ive been advice to Top OH the Car.
Now ang question ko is ganito
1) mas maganda ba kung mag purchased nalng akong bagung engine?
2)and pupuwede ba na 16 valves ang ipurchase ko like engine ng mga toyota corolla XE..? kasi corolla XL 2E engines are ony 12 valves ayt?
3and pag nagpurchased ba ako ng brand new engine is this a complete packages as in all in all? shafts, lifters, piston, valves etc?
or 4)what do u thin can i still rely on my old engine kasinaka genral overhaul xia.kontign repaur lang ok na ulit?
5) how much expensive is this brand new engine...or surplus can i have some estimated cost from you pls..and any stores that i can bought this 1 or just only available on manufacturer?
sana b4 i made a decission i could gather more info regading this para i wont regret it....... kayo ano maadvise nio

suggestion ko lang, palitan mo na lang makina mo ng 16V. either you go for the 4AFE or better, the 4AGE. Pareho ito fuel injected and methink, yung 4AGE ranges from 25-35K.
Di ka magsisisi later pag napalitan mo na engine mo. you have the spare power if ever you needed it, unlike sa 2e na pag puno ka ng sakay, halos gumagapang
IMO.
just seen a 10th gen cross 200,000 miles on reddit. is this a unicorn or has the cvt been proven...
