Agree. That OCI is suitable only on large commercial vehicles doing long distance highway travel. Though I can't shake the feeling that 80k is probably pushing it too far.

they're testing it pa. im sure theyre doing used oil analysis. i wonder ano engines ng 5star bus company. if i remember right they use this giant ass oil filters lol

Yeah. In this business, you're hell bent on keeping the buses on the road and downtime (non-production) kept to a minimum. In which case, prolonging the OCI does have its merits. With the distances they go on a regular basis, they'll reach 80k in a matter of 6-8 months probably.

Chevron should have based on Engine Running hours rather than distance reading. In local condition with our traffic and current Bus design where the airconditioning are direct engine driven then running hours is much applicable..by the time mag 80K km sobra na yan sa equiv running hours

OR every 6 months which ever comes first... Kaya Ganon din... IMO Kung 1000 running hours lang yan... engines with oil Centrifuges can last up to 1200 running hours without change oil... before the oil TBN level go below 4....

mga sir I wonder if pwede ko ring gamitin to sa Accent CRDi , Im currently using DELO 400 MG and satisfied naman ako sa performance compared sa mga FS dating kong gamit. every 5K change oil na ako. eto po kasi nakalagay sa last part " The newly launched Caltex Delo® 400 MGX SAE 15W-40 is currently available in drum and gallon packaging through our appointed distributors at the same price as Delo 400 MG’s SRP."

oo nga po sir buti na lang meron akong nakitang distributor malapit lang sa amin. San Pablo Laguna, meron sa mga Caltex stations. madalas daw Gold nirerecomend nila pero iba performance ng 400

Problema kolang sa Delo 400 MG tumaas FC ko.
I dont know kung may improvement sa MGX regards sa FC.

there is always a compromise. maximum protection means fc is not the best.

recently had fe oil over longlife oil.. i change frequently anyways so i dont need that ll oil.

fe oil was also cheaper than the ll oil..
