there is always a compromise. maximum protection means fc is not the best.

recently had fe oil over longlife oil.. i change frequently anyways so i dont need that ll oil.

fe oil was also cheaper than the ll oil..

Pertua CVO kasi gamit ko ngayon plus oil and metal treatment. Okay naman siya. Sa isa naming auto Delo gold plus Pertua oil and Metal treatment. Walang usok nung nag emissions test. Sana nfa navideo ko para wala masabi haha

Changed oil using Caltex Delo 400 MGX. Initial impressions:
1. Responsive pagdating sa acceleration
2. Tahimik ng engine
3. Mapapangiti ka na lang kasi feeling mo tuwang tuwa ung sasakyan.

Will see if this is better than my previous oil (Mobil Delvac) and will see how the car runs at 3.5k kms up to 5k kms

Currently using this on my 2017 montero, change after 5k. Do you recommend this or full synthetic every 10k? My unit is gonna hit 10k soon
Most of the time only city driving, but occasionally I go on long drives.

I switched to Delo 400 MGX for my 2016 Dmax since I got 35k.
Now 56k and engine running very good.
The new Delo 400 is as good as some semi synthetic oils. It's very good for egr and DPF fitted diesols.
You won't get sludge provided you change oil regular and hardly any carbon build up as this oil has great protective and cleaning additives. And it can handle the heat better than most other mineral oils.
But I always change oil at around 5k regardless because even if your using 100% synthetic oil the dirt is still their circling around inside your engine,. I dont like long oil changes that's why I use mineral oil so I get the dirt out sooner.
Yes you can get 10k from fully synthetic oils but the longer the oil stays in the more dirt you will have inside your engine curcling around. And even though fully synthetic oil take longer to break down than mineral oil you still have suspended dirt flowing inside your engine longer.
For modern SUV and pick ups in the Philippines you can't go wrong with Delo 400 MGX As long as your vehicles Manuel says it's ok to use 15w-40 weight.
My manuel says Delo 400 is ok to use so I use it

I don't use a catch can or block the egr as many others have done.
Bottom line is if you want your diesol to last then remember the 3 basics
1 clean oil...regular service.
2 clean fuel.....fuel filter replace every 10k even if you have a pre filter.
3 clean air.......I clean air filter every 5k and replace every 20k.
