To Tsikot engine experts:
Guys, I noticed lately that when my engine's (5K) rpm decelerates I could hear a knocking sound. It sounds like "Tick, tick, tick, tick" rather than "Tok, tok, tok, tok." What's the possible cause of this? Thanks.

malamang ignition timing yan..try to advance..check narin loob ng distributor, gap sa contact point at air fuel mixture sa carb pag hindi efi ride mo.. at pag nag na knocking at pingning mag decelerate ka para ma iwasan stress sa mga moving parts
happy DIY..
Actually if you hear knock, you should retard timing, not advance further
could be your fuel...might require higher octane rating. or, could be where you fill-up din, baka binabaha and may halo tubig fuel nila.
had the same problem before...i was using shell unleaded, then i shifted to premium, then tried velocity. as advised by a fellow forumer, change brands or change stations. i changed both brand and station....solved! try mo muna ito then if it still persists, do the next step; tune up, timing, check distributor, plugs...
