    agree with this. also, check that grounding wires are properly "grounded" or tightened to the body, chassis, engine & tranny. a good grounding kit can can also fix electrical gremlins that comes with age...

    EGRs only operate when the throttle is around 40% and above and when the coolant temperature around 180°F or higher. These two are the enable criteria for EGR operation. It does not operate all the time.



    Have your PCM scanned. Some PCMs and some scan tools are capable of displaying changes in electrical load.
