i up ko lang...
marami na rin akong nabasa na ibat ibang brands sa internet tungkol sa ECU tuning. curious lang ako kasi dahil sa claims ng vendor/supplier/manufacturer na it will increase the engine horsepower by as much as 30 ps.
yung sa hyundai starex CRDi, it will increase daw yung ps from 140 to 170.
me nakasubok na ba ng ECU tuning, gas engine man o diesel?

Not always. You can increase turbo boost without sacrificing low rpm fuel economy.
But if you have more power, your fuel economy when you floor the pedal will be a bit worse.
How much is the local one? And will it be dyno-tuned? While there are lots of good, reliable and trustworthy chip-tuners, there are some that are nothing but OEM chips repackaged as aftermarket, with exactly the same tuning as stock.

ECU chips might give additional power but of course with a trade-off, like fuel economy and reliability. It's like law of supply and demand. Japanese/Korean/American engineers already pre-tuned your engine to mke it un efficiently with reliability. So for me, that kind of thing is a NO-NO..
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
