July 1st, 2008 06:43 AM #1I suspect that my car has a damaged piston ring because it continues to consume a lot of oil even though I had the valve seals replaced already.
My car was overhauled about a year ago. Do I need to have it overhauled again? Is there any cheap way of replacing the piston ring without overhauling the engine?
What happens to the engine if I continue to use my car with a damaged piston ring? Wala pa kasing budget sa ngayon e.
Do you know of any shop you can recommend who can do the above repair at a reasonable/cheap price in Makati/Pasay area? How much would I need to budget for the repair?
It will probably depend on the design of the battery casing in the vehicle in question. Teslas...
