    we have here a calibration shop..
    we can repair all kinds of diesel injection pumps...
    but now,the companies made an electronic injection pumps and
    our problem here is how to repair the CRDi..
    we have some customers bring their pick ups like hilux CRDi and the rpm doesn't up.
    it travels only 50kph max,then we try to get the idle throttle to its max for how many times then we test it again,then it become faster, 120kph.


    anybody who can explain me why and how is it happened?
    No logical explanation...

    1. 1-3-4-2 ang firing order ng engine,at 1-3-4-2 din ang firing order ng injection pump type na fuel system.Sa CRDi naman po, sa CR po ba? or sa pump? or sa CBox? nanggagaling ang firing order na 1-3-4-2?





    2.paano nagiinject ang injector na tumutugma sa firing order ng engine,like VE type injection pump na my firing order n 1-3-4-2?




    3. papaano sumasabay ang paginject ng injector sa pagtop ng piston. ano po ang nagdidikta sa ECU para itrigger ang injector solenoid para maginject at sumbay sa pagtop ng piston?

    3. papaano sumasabay ang paginject ng injector sa pagtop ng piston. ano po ang nagdidikta sa ECU para itrigger ang injector solenoid para maginject at sumbay sa pagtop ng piston? Meron sensors ang engine kagaya ng accel pedal, rail & boost pressure sensors, crankshaft & camshaft sensors, at marami pang iba. Nakikita ng ECU ang mga signals nito, tapos nagpapadala siya ng actuating current sa mga injectors. Pabago-bago ang timing and current duration na pinadadala niya sa injectors, depende ito sa nakikita nyang signals na nanggagaling sa mga sensors.

    this what they call pilot and main injections. this was impossible to do during the era of mechaincal injection systems and was only possible with the help of electronics that control the injectors. this improves diesel combustion by avoiding diesel knock and this is also the reason why crdi engines tend to be more silent than the mechanical ones as the pilot prepares the combustion chamber for the main injection and hence the sudden rise in pressure is more controlled.
    i agree with dusky, crdi should be left alone for the trained expert with the proper equipment. its a very complicated system. you cant adjust it as the mapping on the engine ECU are fixed.

    You need an ECU programmer or a piggyback controller like the Bluefin (programmer) or the VTECH Redbox or Unichip (piggybacks). You can't adjust it otherwise.

    The cheapest workable solution is the VTECH, at 25k, which has preset maps for most CRDI engines... but custom programming costs an additional 5k. The Unichip is next at around 30k (without the harness, custom-wired), which is custom-programmed to each vehicle if no preset program is available.

    Each of these "tunes" the engine by adjusting the injection advance and injector cycle individually. They don't touch pump function, CRDi doesn't work that way.

    Oh, and each of these solutions is sold on a per-vehicle basis.
