on overhead cam engines the oil will really jump up when you remove the oil cap. syempre kasi may parts na gumagalaw.

now before comming to the overhaul conclusion there are many different factors to consider... compression, smoke, oil/water consumption, etc.

if because of the jumping oil alone you come to the conclusion na kelangan i-overhaul then the mechanic is not that good.

there are lots of factors to consider kung talsik lang ng oil ang pag uusapan, puedeng malakas lang ang oil pump or talsik galing sa racker arm pag overheadcam, try to check your breather kung may oil at usok na lumamabas, pag meron candidate na engine mo sa blow-by, pag nag overhaul ka ulit change mo na lang mga bearings nia , main, conrod bearings sa crank saft kasi nag memetal fatigue din yun mga yun eh.
