every morning nalang that i encounter this problem, palaging namamatayan ng engine. but the bigger problem is yung nawawala bigla almost 1 litre na fuel ko during cold start. i dont know if im doing it right, basta i just avoid pumping the gas, so i keep cranking hanggang sa mag warm-up ang engine, ok lang ba yun? or mas aksaya sa gas yun?
i already set my idle to 1000rpm pero ganun parin, engine dies gradualy. nuon kasi, i pump the gas or choke it pero i noticed na almost 1 litre ang naaaksaya na fuel. what could be the problem here?
hindi naman sya ganito before. last month lang, i had it tuned up, replaced contact point and condenser but not my spark plugs coz platinum yun tsaka bago pa. pina airblown ko rin yung airfilter and pinalinis yung fuelfilter. what else should i do para ma-solve na to? does it involve fuel pump and fuel lines? could there be cloggings somewhere? Paki iterate naman kung ano mga possible causes

fuelpump could be the problem, but if during cold starts lng parang malabo. di kaya lost compression yan, if la ka na iba maisip maybe doing a compression n leakdown test would help

April 28th, 2005 10:46 AM #3malakas talaga pag starting bigla kasing nagpupump eh talagang tumatapon. ganun din nangyari sakin pagtapos ko mag change oil tune up. subukan mo muna ihataw long distance para ma stabilize sakin ksi stable na ulit eh. ganun din ginawa ko adjust ako ng adjust kakaasar nga eh

we have the same problem. may mga nagsabi sa akin to check the auto choke of my carb engine, sana yun na nga ang culprit. nagpalit na kasi ako ng air & fuel filters pero ganun pa rin. kpag mainit na naman ang engine, ok na siya humatak. baka this weekend ko pa ito mapatignan.

bluebimmer,
how is it done? pwede bang DIY yan or kelangan sa shop ipagawa?
boydapa,
actually, i had it taken already on long distance na travel pero ganun pa rin. tingin ko it all started when i had itsidling adjusted to 750rpm
zero,

pano mo nalaman na 1 liter of gas agad ang nababawas sayo?mejo mahirap yatang i measure yun pre.
nga pala, what's the heat range ng spark plug mo?baka you are using "cold" spark plugs...just a possibility.

hirap nga, baka tune-up lang ang gagawin ng mekaniko dito.
maghintay na rin muna ako ng mga replies from other tsikoteers.
may shop ba kayong alam na magaling sa carb?
pki-post na lang po, salamat!
