The question is...how often the maintenance?
Donot based upon the milage of the car but how you maintain it and thats matter. I have a 87 Toyota Celica before it serve faithfully a well over 750,000 miles before I donated to MADD (Mother Againt's Drunk Driving). And thats a 1,207,000 kilometers.

V6 is correct. mileage is not always the basis but just indicator on how much action the car has seen. as for your unit. 180K for 7yrs tells you that previous ownera averaged at 25K per year and for me that's alot since i only average 10K per year on my daily rides. take it to the Honda CASA. have them assess all the needed repairs. You can always pull out the unit after the diagnostics and just pay a small fee. then its up to you what to work on first.(safety/wirings>engine>aesthestics is my usual pattern)

the CASA would have the best fit tools to identify all needed replacements/repairs for our rides. mahal nga lang if sa kanila mo papagawa.

taas na ah... pero may mas mataas pa dyan. hehehehe.

    - suspension/brake issues
    - airconditioning and temperature issues
    - engine (smoking, oil leaks)
    - tranny issues

what i would suggest you do is not to fix anything muna without having some symptoms.

and yes, change the timing belt as soon as you can.

wala sa mileage yan. nasa regular maintenance and how you use your car (if it's abused or not).

    wala nga sa mileage yan.

    examples:

    - Sarsi's lancer... ang lufet nyan...
    - my ex-lancer, which did 230k. but when i released it, walang ka proble-problema.. engine still hums like new, walang kalampag, and original paint pa.

    Hellow pareng Vlad!

Like me, 1992 nga kotse ko hataw pa rin, although the catch is kung merong maliit na sira, paayos mo kaagad, before lumaki.

OT: Maz, musta bro? long time no hear/see...

Which do you prefer (for the same mileage) for a 2nd hand car..city-driven (QC to Pasig) or province-driven (say in Bulacan to Pampanga areas) ?

i would prefer the province driven even though mahaba ang tinakbo nyan, highway driving yan.. so ang wear and tear nya is less than the one that is drivven in daily traffic.

Actually had the timing belt replaced last year, previous owner had it tuned up every 5000 kilometers sa casa kasi med rep yung dating may ari so sagot ng company yung mga gastos.

kung medrep dating owner most probably panay out of town biyahe so hindi kasing tagtag ng city stop and go driving.

still expect a lot of underchassis and engine replacement/repair. ayan nga tumo-tok sa likod. bushing? pa check mo na lang.
