it's possible and doable, but in my opinion it's not worth the hassle, headache and expense para i-convert mo yung carb engine mo to EFI. You'll need a lot of parts and will replace some parts.
It will be more economical for you to get a surplus EFI engine that will fit in your cars engine bay.
If your reason for shifting from carb to EFi is to save fuel, I'd suggest that you try to change your driving habits first. Even EFi equipped cars will be guzzlers if the driver itself has a heavy right foot.
You would also rather keep your engine in top shape, regular tune-ups, etc which will surely affect your fuel efficiency.
If this works for you, you'll save a ton of cash on your fuel expense.

better kung change engine na lang kayo to efi. convertion kasi dami pang papalitan and imomodify
For the cost of conversion, you can just engine-swap.
But that much money could buy you a metered LPG kit already. There are kits that will convert your carburated car into an electronically metered LPG-type engine. Safe, hassle-free, more economical, and... you'll be buying cheaper fuel, to boot.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
gasoline = P48/L
auto-LPG = P26.80/L
If you want to save money, why not just convert your carb engine to run on auto-LPG? DENSO/EROOM is selling a closed loop mixer type auto-LPG kit for around P25K.

Or you could opt for an open loop mixer-type auto-LPG system for around P22K from Greenfuel.

^^ bakit kailangan pa convert to efi then lpg? does not make sense to me.
LPG na lang than to go the hassel of engine swap or efi conversion.
Possible but not advisable.
Think all the hassle of engine convertion, time and money and I assumed its gonna cost you thousand. Do the simple math of how much is the diff. of gas consumption per kilometer on your carb on the same engine w/ EFI. I gues not much of a diff. right! Say's, how many more years to keep your car, is the convertions pays it self or it is better to leave it as is?
if you like an efi engine better benta mo na lang yang exsisting car mo and bili ka na lang ng honda vti. less hassle
change the engine and install an efi engine na from the get go. conversion will be a huge hassle to get it to work right.
LPG is probably the best option. conversion is tricky and expensive.
i wonder... what if i run out of LPG on a long journey? possible for me to switch back to regular petrol anytime? is the switchover seamless?
normally there is a switch to activate/deactivate the lpg naman so switching from one to another should be no problem.
kung gusto mo makatipid sa gas.
swap your engine na lang to a lower one (if lxi mo is 1.5, try mo nalang yung 1.3)
dunno lang mechanics nyan kung bolt on lang or me coconvert pa sa installation.
sir, option lang ito... theres a d15b vtec-e engine, its implementation is economy. it just uses 12 valve for normal driving then when you step on the gas lalabas yung pagka 1500 niya.
not so sure about the FC pero mukang matipid from the description.
my 2 cents![]()
For EFI engines, gasoline/LPG switch over is seemless. But for carb engines, when switching from gasoline to LPG, you have to first use up the gasoline inthe carb before switching to LPG. It's not something you can do on the fly but it would take less than half a minute to complete.
^^ well thats true, iba pa rin yung LPG conversion kesa efi.. option lang naman kung gusto niya change to efi... just get the engine.![]()
