hi guys. newbie ako sa forum. but from wat i saw. kakatuwa d2. dami ko nalalaman lalo. question lng. few months back ngpadukot ako. at first oki ulit takbo ng makina. lumakas ulit hatak. but a month ago kpag tntry kong bumirit parang sinisinok un makina ko. ayaw nya umakyat ng 4ooo rpm. ngpalit nko ng fuel filter dahil mejo luma na dn fuel filter ko (wat i tot the problem is). pro ganun pa dn. any suggestions? Tnx!

just like your thread, you leave a whole lot to guessing. what is your car make, model, year, mileage, fuel delivery type, ignition type. there is no time for guessing and hope you "fixed" the problem. guess and hope is not only costly, it is more expensive than going to an equipped shop with trained technicians.

Based on what I can see, you can try getting your in-tank fuel filter checked if it's clogged with dirt.

mitsu. gli '95 efi. hindi ko nacheck un mileage eh. i think more than 500. nkasimota air intake ako. and kakalinis ko lang din eh. nung isang araw pinatry kong paadjust timing nung distributor. 1 day lang ok un takbo. kinabukasan ganun na ulit. hindi ko pa kse nababalik dun sa pinagpapagawan ko eh. im just hoping na may iba din nkexperience ng same problem and alam naging fix.

is your (MIL) malfunction indicator light or check engine light illumninated or blinking? did you refuel just before these symptoms started? what was the last thing done to your engine? aside from tampering with the then working ignition timing, did you have your oil changed?

last thing that was done was top overhaul. everytime nman na start ko engine nkilaw un check engine eh. pero kpag ngstart na hindi na sya iilaw. do you think e10 fuel has something to do with this? so far ang mga nagagawa plang. cleaning the servo. tpos adjust un distributor. chineck un spark plug medyo ok nman. tska kpag biglang rev maririnig mo un parang lunod.

could be that the E10 has an effect on it. One of my friend's liteace, which was just overhauled, really runs ugly on E10, but runs good on non-E10 fuel. try mo muna pag change ng fuel variant.

one more thing, were your spark plugs, fuel filter and fuel lines cleaned and replaced?

me tunog po ba na para siyang sinasakal?
kasi dati yung glxi ng friend ko pag hinugot ang MAF para siyang sinasakal pero lam ko pag ganun iilaw ata yung check engine? not sure

yung sa sentra ko naman ganyan din ang akin naman nasisira na pala fuel pump so bale pag ginas ko siya hindi na pala nakakabigay ng masyadong fuel

on number six of the thread, i asked about refuel. your answer is giving the brighter insight as to what was causing the problem after all. even the best condition and well tuned engine will have this diarrhea. switch back to your regular fuel.

Bago tayo mag conclude na e10 ang problema, why not check the MAP sensor first?

check mo rin fuel pump at yung tanke ng gas baka marumi na.

thanks mga paps. ang pagkakaalam ko kasi halos lahat ng gasolinahan e10 na gamit eh. pacheck ko din fuel pump ko. un sensor naman ever since ganun na siya. kapag bubuksan ang makina iilaw sandali then kapag nkastart na makina hindi na siya iilaw. ang tunog nga niya parang nalulunod na parang sinasakal. pero kapag dahan dahan mo siya nirev unti unti umaakyat yun rpm. lalo na kapag naka aircon. mejo hirap talaga.

Greetings mga Ka-Tsikot,

Just want to join this thread as my case may fall to this category. Mine is a 96 Corolla Gli, around 142+ thousand km. Was serviced at Toyota Aurora for 140k PMS. Basically ang main things that was made was an oil change, oil filter change, air filter change, 4 spark plugs change and the rest of the stuff na nasa checklist ng 140km PMS. My problem now is that parang sinisinok na din yung makina ko after the service. Pag mag aacelerate ka, hindi na sya ganun ka linis compare nung di pa naseserbisan. Parang me ibang kulo na di ko madescribe, lalo na pag above 60 rpm ka na. Parang sakal na sya. I planned to bring it back na din sa casa, just want to get some idea lang muna sana from other tsikot memebers kung me experience kayong ganito. 1 thing Im thinking na me effect is yung pag engine flush nila? Nakasama kaya ito given na oldies na yung car ko? Also, kindly note that after the service, I changed my gasoline to Shell premium. I usualy use Shell unleaded pero I changed muna sa premium given nung E10 mix issue ng Unleaded. Could this also had an effect?
Help naman po mga pips, just want to be enlightened about this.

I have the same problem also with my 96 civic lxi m/t. MIL lamp showed and then sininok na siya at violent jerking. I had it checked outside CASA and ran a check on the computer box and concluded that the IACV(Idle air control valve) ang problem..Mejo naalangan ako ipapalit ng surplus kaya nagpunta ako ng CASA

I went to HONDA SPA in mindanao avenue,and they concluded as well that the IACV was at fault. They replaced the IACV and the car turned out to be ok but after a few days, balik MIL ulit.. After checking with SPA again, damay na daw computer box. Sira na daw pala nun pa at tinamaan na(nasunog),it was running on "backup" mode daw kaya mukang naging ok pa.

Ngayon, I'll pick it up sa CASA with the computer box changed and all (27k ang gastos for a brand new one)

Now the question that revolves around here is does E10 may have partly caused our engine sinok problems?
