My friend just recently bought an Innova 2.5 diesel A/T. All I know is that CRDi engines don't go well with diesel that's being sold in our country. Could he add some biodiesel to his fuel mixture? Will it help?

March 12th, 2005 06:02 PM #2dami ng threads regarding this. also have some customers already using it on their 4jx1. sa Europe it's not even a point of discussion as it gives better emission. I haven't seen any compelling reason why it can't be used on crdi's. My 2cents.

Personally, if I had a CRDi vehicle I would have no problems using BD on it. Just get your BD from a good source.

a friend of mine who has just imported a 2003 BMW 330d (a state of the art diesel engine) has to blend at least 10-15% Senbel biodiesel with local diesel fuel to maintain performance.
