Not necessarily. Check your air filter first as it may be restricted. If restricted, replace with original air filter from Mitsubishi. Insufficient air will result in less power and higher fuel consumption. If it does not improve, your injection pump may need calibration.
Only you can answer this question. This depends on when you last changed it. Basically, a restricted fuel filter will allow less fuel to your engine, resulting in lower fuel consumption and low power output. Also, use original Mitsubishi filters.
What is your present ODO reading? Btw, recommended interval for timing belt change is 80k kms; this is a must.
I recall, change oil interval is every 5000kms or one year whichever comes first.
Diesel fuel is not good for flushing your engine due to it's poor lubricating characteristics. It may do more damage than good to your engine. You don't really have to use flushing oil at all. Just change oil and oil filter; no need to flush.
6.give me some advice naman po kung ano magandang at cheap engine oil? Use any oil (intended for diesels) from Caltex, Shell, or Petron. These are fine oils for your car, considering that your engine usage is not that harsh. I normally use Petron 15W-40.
See my reply on #s 5 & 6. I'm not familiar with Castrol crb.

No problem. See my thread: "Diesel Fuel Injection Systems Help Desk" and pose your questions there. It will help you. Bye.

    1. Yes, not necessarily. Dinala namin yung MB100 sa Central Diesel Q.C. dati due to loss of power. Advise samin, change all filters and a lil nozzle cleaning. Naging ok naman after.
Click here for the 4d56 maintenance schedule (I know it's a scan from the Starex manual but the schedule is the same): http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31294

    5. Ditto, just drain well (be patient, mag lunch ka muna or something while waiting). No need for any flushing or magic potion.
    6. Anything that meets your vehicle's required grade is ok. Check also if the oil is designed for turbocharged applications.
    7. AFAIK, Castrol CRB (the one in the green jug?) already exceeds the oil grade requirement of the 4d56 so it is suitable for use.

4M40 uses a Bosch / Zexel diesel injection system. I recommend that you bring it to any authorized Bosch Diesel Service Center nearest your location, as these shops are factory trained, and have the necessary test equipment to do a good job.

FYI, we are a Bosch Diesel Center (Central Diesel, Philippines)

6km/liter city driving for a 4M40 2.8L intercooler turbo is not bad at all... My 4D56 turbo diesel consumes around the same for city driving too considering its just a 2.5L diesel engine...

Central Diesel is located at 1176 Quezon Avenue corner Sct. Magbanua. Landmark is Capitol Madical Center. Building has a wrap around signage that says Bosch Diesel Center.

Baka barado lang ang air filter. Check mo muna.
Proper oil grade from Petron, Shell, or Caltex would be fine.
Flushing is not necessary.

    No Problem..........
