The 4EFTE suffers from turbo lag like all small-engined turbos of that era. It is also prone to heat soak so you can't really push 100% for sustained periods.

If you want a stellar engine for an E100 body, go straight for a Silvertop or Blacktop. Otherwise, the 4AFE is a really good balance of economy, durability, and performance.
